The Pink Glimmers Foundation mission is to educate, empower and support women facing breast reconstruction due to breast cancer or a genetic mutation.
In 2025, Jennifer was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a skin-sparing double mastectomy followed by implant-based reconstruction. Although she had spent nearly two decades immersed in the cancer community, she was surprised by how little she knew about breast reconstruction and the challenges many patients face accessing information and affording care. Completing her reconstruction with 3D restorative nipple and areola tattoos was an emotional and powerful final step in her healing. Her experience inspired her to establish the Pink Glimmers Foundation, dedicated to educating, supporting, and helping patients navigate the often-overwhelming journey of breast reconstruction.
Many women face breast reconstruction, but it is intimate and personal, so few openly discuss it. We believe that needs to change.
Provides financial assistance for 3D nipple and areola tattoos, the final phase of breast reconstruction, for patients diagnosed with breast cancer or a genetic mutation who live in Miami-Dade, Monroe, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
The Pink Glimmers Foundation provided the initial funding to establish the Breast Reconstruction Program Fund at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. This fund will advance research, education and training in breast reconstruction.
